ITS Contest 2023/24

Born to Create

ITS Contest 2023/24 is one of the world’s leading platforms for emerging creative talent in fashion, accessories and jewellery design.

Finalists are selected by an international Jury composed of fashion industry leaders, artists, stylists, photographers and editors. They benefit from global media exposure, professional opportunities and mentoring, as well as financial awards.

Creative and artistic directors such as Demna, Matthieu Blazy, Nicolas di Felice and Richard Quinn are just some of the competition’s 670 alumni.

It all started with a bang, a very big bang.

Time began and with time came existence. Galaxies, stars, oceans, stars. And everything began to fragment and to break apart as it descended into increasing disorder and chaos. But in the universe, something happened. A rebellious, unconventional, revolutionary movement brought order. Order signifies complexity, information, diversity and motion. Or simply life. Each one of us is the result of this mysterious and unlikely event.

And the fact that we exist is astonishing. As living beings, an extraordinary ability that we have is to be able to discern order amongst disorder. Every time you picture something in your mind. Every time you seek out a different path, every time you dance to the internal rhythms of your life. You are transcending time by pushing the unlikely, and changing destiny.

When you create a dot on the canvas in that exact moment an order appears. Chaos is flowing all around. But with your exceptional abilities, you can navigate through it because the only thing that you can see, hear, taste, smell, touch is order. Creativity is the term we use to describe this talent. Through creativity, you can shape destiny and challenge time.

So if this happy accident called life is the ultimate act of rebellion, the ultimate expression of order, then
creativity in all its forms is the tool. And you were born to use this tool. You were born to create.”
