ITS is internationally recognized as the bridge connecting brands to the most interesting young talents worldwide. Together with the strong support of the Italian national & local Institutions, international companies continue to embrace the driving force of ITS with the common aim of supporting young talents all over the planet.
They are able to build privileged relationships with the next generations of designers through the development of cutting-edge projects, obtaining tangible results, through a constant dialogue that produces fresh ideas and innovation in the world of design.
ITS Contest 2023 is supported by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, PromoTurismo FVG and Fondazione CRTrieste, an important and tangible sign of the involvement of the territory with the aim of placing Trieste on the map of international creativity.
Creativity knows no boundaries. ITS Contest 2023 celebrates Nova Gorica – Gorizia, the European Capital of Culture 2025, with a dedicated award.
During the contest’s final event, founder Barbara Franchin and philosopher Emanuele Coccia will present the GO! 2025 Borderless Award powered by Regione FVG to the Fashion Finalist who best embodies the concept of absence and the transcendence of cultural, physical, mental, or geographical boundaries through a garment and its narrative.
The winning project will receive a prize of €10,000 and will be showcased in a dedicated exhibition within the spaces of ITS Arcademy, Italy’s first museum of contemporary fashion, which hosts the works of art, designs, and borderless visions of emerging talents of fashion and design from all over the world.
Since its creation, conceived as a universal, democratic object, Swatch has been thriving on diversity, multiplicity, dynamism, inclusion and positive energies that intertwine, feed on each other and multiply. In this vein, in 2011 the Swatch Art Peace Hotel opened in Shanghai: a remarkable position, in the heart of the most dynamic and vibrant of Chinese metropolis, a unique space in terms of dimensions, style and capacity, expressly conceived for artists of all generations, from all countries and all disciplines, that will make here their ‘home’ for a few months and have the chance to carry out their work and express their talent, meet other artists and interact with the local art community. To date the Swatch Art Peace Hotel has been hosting more than 480 artists, from 55 countries. Eight of them were recipients of the ITS/Swatch Art Peace Hotel award in previous editions of the contest.

Fondazione Ferragamo was established in 2013 at the behest of the Ferragamo family with the aim of training the new generations to the values of craftsmanship and Made in Italy, turning its attention to fashion, design and creative processes in general. Fondazione Sozzani is dedicated to the promotion of culture through photography, fashion, the fine arts, and applied arts. The Foundation has assumed the patronage of Galleria Carla Sozzani and continues all relevant public functions that the Galleria has supported since 1990.
Since 2021, under the creative direction of Sara Sozzani Maino, the Fondazione curates projects dedicated to education, responsibility and awareness and supports the next generation of creatives.
