GO! 2025 Borderless powered by Regione FVG

Creativity knows no boundaries. For over twenty years, ITS Contest has celebrated unrestricted creativity and global inclusivity, welcoming emerging designers from every continent.

From this steadfast commitment arises the ITS Contest GO! 2025 Borderless project, supported by the Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia in the run up to Nova Gorica - Gorizia European Capital of Culture 2025.

ITS Contest Founder Barbara Franchin and philosopher Emanuele Coccia will present the “GO! 2025 Borderless Award powered by Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia” to the ITS Contest Finalist who best interprets the absence and transcendence of cultural, physical, mental, or geographic boundaries through a garment and its narrative.

The winning project will be awarded a prize of €10,000 and will be showcased in a dedicated exhibition within the premises of ITS Arcademy, Italy's first museum of contemporary fashion. The museum showcases artworks, designs, and boundary-defying visions of emerging talents in the realms of fashion and design from around the world.

“ITS Contest has continuously advocated for boundaryless talent and cultural exchange as catalysts for both individual and collective growth,” explains founder Barbara Franchin. “The accumulation of 15,000 international works over the two decades of ITS Contest, now composing the ITS Arcademy Collection, unequivocally demonstrates that creativity is a universal heritage of humanity, unrestricted by any boundaries.”
