ITS GO! 2025 Borderless for FVG Schools
ITS GO! 2025 – Borderless for FVG Schools is an educational initiative promoted by Fondazione ITS and supported by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. This project engages students from seven upper secondary schools in the region that offer fashion courses, providing them with the opportunity to develop and express their creativity.

Project inspiration and theme
The project is inspired by the values of GO! 2025 Nova Gorica-Gorizia, the European Capital of Culture 2025, and centers around the theme “Borderless”. It delves into the significance of geographical, cultural, physical, and mental boundaries, exploring ways to transcend them through creative expression. This initiative encompasses the development and execution of a series of collaborative design projects, during which seven exceptional garments will be selected and integrated into the ITS Arcademy - Museum of Art in Fashion Collection for public exhibition.
Project structure
ITS GO! 2025 – Borderless for FVG Schools is structured around a comprehensive program that includes guided tours of ITS Arcademy's exhibitions, workshops focused on sustainability and upcycling, and the contribution of distinguished guests.
Project objectives
- Encourage Peer Interaction: Promote collaboration and group work among students, fostering the sharing of a common objective.
- Promote Responsible Creativity: Encourage sustainable and conscious practices in the creative process.
- Stimulate Innovation in Fashion Professions: Prepare students for the challenges of new careers in the fashion industry by inspiring new ideas and innovative approaches.
Cultural heritage enhancement
The initiative aims to enhance the creativity and cultural heritage of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, promoting:
- Responsible Creativity: Implement sustainable practices in fashion design and production.
- Collaboration: Foster teamwork and idea exchange between students and industry professionals.
- Innovation: Encourage innovation through creative projects that integrate tradition and modernity.
