Serge Carreira
Director of Emerging Brands Initiative at the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode
Fashion veteran Serge Carreira is currently Director of Emerging Brands Initiative at the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. He is also affiliated Professor at Sciences Po in Paris, one of the global leading schools in the field of social sciences. Carreira has contributed to the LVMH Inside Certificate with the module "Past, Present and Future : the Luxury Formula.". Over his 20 years career in fashion and luxury, he held diverse management positions at Galeries Lafayette, Prada, Miu Miu and Mary Katrantzou.

Orsola de Castro
Co-founder of Fashion Revolution and Estethica
Orsola de Castro is an opinion leader in sustainable fashion, a mentor, curator and author.
Her multi award winning brand From Somewhere (1997 - 2014) was pioneering in the field of upcycling and sold in some of the world’s best boutiques - collaborations include collections for Tesco Clothing, Robe Di Kappa, Topshop and Speedo.
In 2006 she started Estethica, the highly acclaimed Sustainable Fashion Showcase at London Fashion Week (which she has recently reformed), and in 2013 she co-founded Fashion Revolution, now the world’s largest fashion activism movement, with teams in over 80 countries.
She is a regular lecturer at Central Saint Martins BA and MA, Associate Visiting Professor for the faculty of the Arts at Middlesex University and Visiting Lecturer on the Distance Learning MSc Humanitarian Intervention at the University of East London (School of Psychology).
Her first book, Loved Clothes Last was published by Penguin life in 2021 and translated into Italian (Corbaccio Editori) French (Edition Marabou) and German (Doerlemann Verlag).

Emanuele Coccia
Philosopher
Emanuele Coccia is the author of The Life of Plants (2018), Metamorphosis (2021) and Philosophy of the Home (2024). He recently published a photo-theory book with Dutch photographer Viviane Sassen (Modern Alchemy 2022), a philosophical epistolary on light with photographer Paolo Roversi (Lettres sur la lumières, 2024) and a book on the relationship between fashion and philosophy with Valentino's creative director Alessandro Michele (The Life of forms. Philosophy or Re-enchantment, 2024).
Together with Olivier Saillard he curated the exhibition "The Many Lives of a Garment" at ITS Arcademy, and together with Yuko Hasegawa an exhibition on Art and Ecology (Dancing with All) at the Museum for 21st Century in Kanazawa (Japan). He is currently developing (once again with Olivier Saillard) the next exhibition at ITS Arcademy that will open in March 2025.

Tom Eerebout
Stylist & Fashion Consultant
Tom Eerebout, a stylist and fashion consultant from Belgium, has made a significant impact in the industry. After refining his skills as an assistant in London, he developed a distinctive storytelling aesthetic. Some of Eerebout's impressive clientele include Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Banks, Austin Butler, Rebecca Ferguson, and Sylvie Kreusch. With a decade of experience, he has worked on international tours, music videos, red carpets, editorials, and campaigns. Notably, Eerebout served as the Fashion Director for Lady Gaga's Las Vegas residencies, "Enigma," "Jazz and Piano," and "The Chromatica Ball" alongside Sandra Amador. Most recently he has also designed a capsule collection of sunglasses for Komono and a Unisex jewelry line for Elliot & Ostrich. His versatile and captivating styles demonstrate his exceptional eye for detail. Through his styling and fashion consultancy, Eerebout continues to leave a lasting impact, harnessing fashion's power to tell compelling stories.

Maria Sole Ferragamo
Designer
Maria Sole Ferragamo is a multidisciplinary designer working at the intersection of leather craftsmanship, jewelry design, architecture, and visual arts. She holds a degree in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and a Master’s in Jewelry Design from Central Saint Martins, London. In 2019, she founded SO-LE STUDIO, driven by a mission to transform high-quality leftover materials such as leather and brass into unique jewelry and wearable sculptures.
SO-LE STUDIO releases two main collections annually, known for statement pieces that play with illusion and contrast. The jewelry appears voluminous and heavy, yet the use of lightweight materials like leather ensures practicality and comfort. Maria Sole’s approach emphasizes sustainability, working with found materials to create limited-edition, dynamic, and versatile designs.
Her work has been exhibited at renowned galleries, including the Elisabetta Cipriani Gallery, Art Basel, MiArt, PAD London, and museums such as Museo Poldi Pezzoli in Milan and Museo Salvatore Ferragamo in Florence. In 2021, she exhibited at the Rossana Orlandi gallery during Milan Design Week and won the Jewellery Prize at the ‘Premio Giovani Imprese - Believing in the Future’ by Fondazione Altagamma.
Deanna Ferretti
Deanna Ferretti - Founder Miss Deanna and Co Founder Modateca Deanna
Deanna Ferretti Veroni started her career in Reggio Emilia, Italy more than 40 years ago. She has founded her knitwear company in the early 60’s and since then successfully collaborated with some of the most important designers of this past century. She met Kenzo when she was barely 25 years old and with him she worked successfully for over 20 years. During the 70’s she collaborated also with Yves Saint Laurent, Rena Kraft, John Ashpool, Giorgio Correggiari, Popy Moreni and Michelle Bruyere among many others. In the 80’s her buissness grew and she started to have her first licences contracts with brands like Krizia, Adrienne Vittadini, Giorgio Armani and Joseph whose collections were designed by John Galliano and John Richmond. In the 90’s, she worked with Maison Martin Margiela, Mattew Williamson, Valentino, Julien Mac Donald, Neil Barret and for many others brands. She has a wide experience in textiles and knitwear but she cannot be called neither a fashion designer nor simply a business woman. Actually, she is an atypical figure, creative and technical at the same time, born to realise almost every designer’s dream. Deanna supports always new young talents through her constant work with students of the Master in Creative Knitwear Design of Accademia Costume & Moda, developed in collaboration with Modateca Deanna, and several Schools and Istitutions worldwide as well as sharing her infinite knowlege within Modateca Deanna and its visitors.
Barbara Franchin
Fondazione ITS Director and ITS Contest Founder
Barbara Franchin stands at the helm of the Fondazione ITS, steering both the ITS Contest and the ITS Arcademy - Museum of Art in Fashion – Italy’s first contemporary fashion museum.
Born and raised in the cosmopolitan city of Trieste, Italy, Barbara cultivated a singular and unrestricted perspective on creativity. This vision led her to found EVE in 2001, a pioneering creative agency driven by a dynamic team of young visionaries.
This initiative paved the way for the launch of the ITS Contest in 2002, a platform that drew emerging talents from top fashion design schools globally. Quickly earning critical acclaim, the contest captured the interest of media, influencers, intellectuals, and key figures in the international fashion landscape, establishing itself as one of the world’s most prestigious launchpads for emerging design talents. Transitioning from its original framework, EVE evolved into a cultural association in 2006 and into Fondazione ITS in 2022.
Driven by her love for art and culture, and committed to preserving and showcasing the raw creativity unearthed through the ITS Contest, Barbara has assembled an unparalleled collection encompassing 14,840 portfolios, 1,100 fashion pieces, 165 accessories, 120 pieces of jewelry, and more than 700 digital photography projects.
These are now contained within ITS Arcademy - Museum of Art in Fashion, a pioneering space combining an exhibition area, a creative archive, and an educational hub.
Barbara Franchin has been recognised for her contributions to the promotion of creativity, earning a spot on Elle Magazine's list of the 100 most influential women in fashion, inclusion in The Business of Fashion's BoF 500 list, and being named one of Forbes' 100 successful women in leadership and creativity.
Stefano Gallici
Creative Director Ann Demeulemeester
Born in 1996 in Teor, in the district of Udine, Stefano Gallici grew up between this little burg and Venice. Crossing the threshold of punk rock, indie and garage he discovered fashion, attracted by the continuity between musical and aesthetic expression, making it the foundation of his own creative quest.
He learned the rudiments of sewing from a seamstress, precisely to be able to dress according to the fantasies he had. In 2016 he enrolled at the Fashion Design course at IUAV university in Venice, a school which, shaped by the vision of Maria Luisa Frisa and Mario Lupano, addresses fashion in its technical and cultural aspects. In these early years he sharpened his knowledge of sewing and pattern making through various apprenticeships.
In 2017 he collaborated with Haider Ackermann for nine months, swinging between Paris and Antwerp, before returning to Venice and graduating in 2018. At the beginning of the following year he moved to Milan and began working for Antonioli Group. Since 2020, the year of the brand’s acquisition, he has been part of the Ann Demeulemeester team. In 2023 he has been appointed creative director. His vision of the brand is nourished by a mixture of musical leanings and respect for Ann’s work, synthesized in a vibrant and individual signature.
Carlo Giordanetti
CEO Swatch Art Peace Hotel
Carlo Giordanetti is member of the Product & Design Committee of Swatch Ltd. As CEO of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, he is in charge of developing the project as a strategic element of the overall brand program. He comes to Swatch from Montblanc (2007-2012), where he served as Creative Director for all product groups. Previously, as Co-Founder and Creative Director of Brand DNA (2000-2007), he specialized in the development of branding concepts and brand (re)positioning in the luxury goods market.
Carlo also brings extensive experience at Swatch to his new role. For ten years (1987-1992 and 1995-2000) he served in a variety of positions, including Vice President, Marketing, contributing actively to numerous projects involving art, brand-building events, new product development and the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. He was also a member of the team that founded both the Milan and New York design labs of Swatch. From 2012 to 2019 he has been Creative Director at Swatch, responsible for a unified brand message across product, communications and retail. From 1992-1995 Mr. Giordanetti worked at Piaggio, makers of Vespa scooters, where he established a new retail concept and directed the company’s first international communications campaign. He is fluent in several European languages and has lived and worked in Milan, Florence, New York, Paris, Hamburg, Zurich and now Bern.
Valentina Maggi
Director of Creative Practice at Floriane de St Pierre & Associès
Graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, Valentina Maggi began her professional career in the Conservation and History of Architecture Department of the Politecnico di Milano. With her passion for Design in the wider sense, Valentina Maggi joined FLORIANE DE SAINT PIERRE & ASSOCIÉS in 1999 and has headed up the Design Practice since 2000.
Massimo Nicosia
Creative Director, Ready-To-Wear Sport Performance Hub, EssilorLuxottica
Massimo Nicosia is an Italian fashion designer with a background in architecture, known for his technical craftsmanship and modern menswear.
In 2024, Nicosia became Creative Director of EssilorLuxottica’s ready-to-wear Sport Performance Hub division, leading Oakley’s apparel evolution for its 50th anniversary. His expertise in blending tailoring with performance-wear is setting a new direction for the brand, balancing technical function with refined design.
He joined Zegna in 2017 as Head of Design, where he fused modern tailoring with activewear, introducing sharp, sculptural monochromatic silhouettes that embodied quiet luxury.
In 2014, as Design Director of Pringle of Scotland, he redefined the brand’s knitwear for its 200th anniversary, pioneering advanced textile techniques and 3D-printed knitwear.

Mark C. O’Flaherty
Interiors & Portrait Photographer and Author
Mark C. O’Flaherty is a London-based interiors and portrait photographer. He has worked for Issey Miyake, Hermès and Diane von Furstenberg, as well as international editions of AD, World of Interiors, Financial Times Weekend, HTSI, MiLK Decoration and Sunday Times Style. He also writes about design regularly for many of the same publications, as well as The New York Times. In the 1990s he was DJ for MTV and a variety of major London nightclubs, and produced shows at London Fashion Week. He wrote and photographed ‘Narrative Thread – Conversations on Fashion Collections’, published by Bloomsbury in 2023, which was reviewed to wide international acclaim. Norma Kamali: “Rarely does one person have such a high level of talent for both photography and writing. Mark C. O’Flaherty absolutely does.”
Zandra Rhodes
Fashion and Textile Designer and Founder of the Fashion and Textile Museum
Dame Zandra Rhodes is a British fashion and textile designer renowned for her bold and colourful prints and unmistakable personal style. Having graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Printed Textiles in 1964, Rhodes went on to revolutionize the fashion industry, launching her iconic brand, designing five decades of groundbreaking fashion collections, dressing rockstars and royalty and founding London’s Fashion and Textile Museum. In 2014, she was honoured with a DBE for her contributions to British fashion and textiles. Her designs are housed in prestigious museums globally such as The Met in New York and the V&A in London. In 2020, she established the Zandra Rhodes Foundation to preserve her legacy and open up her vast archive as a learning resource for current and future generations. Rhodes continues to work from her London studio, focusing on both archiving her life’s output and designing new collaborations with leading fashion and lifestyle brands. She recently published her memoir, ICONIC: My Life in Fashion in 50 Objects.
Stefania Ricci
Director of Museo Salvatore Ferragamo and Fondazione Ferragamo
She graduated in Literature with a specialization in Art History from the University of Florence; in 1984 she began to work with the Galleria del Costume of Palazzo Pitti and with Pitti Immagine, curating the realization of some exhibitions and catalogues such as “La Sala Bianca: nascita della moda Italiana” (Electa) in 1992 and, in 1996, on the occasion of the Biennale d’Arte e Moda in Florence, the catalogue of the Emilio Pucci exhibition (Skira). In 1985, she curated the first retrospective exhibition on Salvatore Ferragamo at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence and its various venues at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London (1987), at the Los Angeles County Museum (1992), at the Sogetsu Kai Foundation in Tokyo (1998) and at the Museo Palacio des Bellas Artes in Mexico City (2006), starting with the organization of the company’s archive. Since 1995 she has been the director of the Museo Ferragamo and she has also been responsible for cultural events around the world; since then, she has curated all the exhibitions organized by the museum and the related catalogues, including “Audrey Hepburn. Luca Rizzi
Pitti Immagine Tutoring & Consulting Director, e-P Summit Project Leader
Born in 1984 in Trento, after his initial studies in Economics and Business Management, Luca Rizzi completed a Master’s degree in Management at the European School of Economics in Milan. Here, Luca acquired the knowledge needed to start his job-career in Futurenet Group (now called Tomorrow Ltd), where he was involved both in the commercial developments and in the communications, dealing with global brands as Raf Simons, Evisu, True Religion, Vince and Ksubi. He then went on to work for Cernobbio, owner of the historic brand Metradamo, where he managed relations with Italian and international clients. In 2011, he arrived in LAGENTE, an important company focused on fashion designers. Strong from this experience, in 2013, he founded CREATIVE AND MORE, a Business and Strategic Consultancy firm, which acts as a platform of strategic networking between companies of the fashion system and fashion designers. In November 2018, the company was absorbed by Pitti Immagine and he was appointed director of the Tutoring & Consulting Division. As of July 2022, he will also serve as Project Leader of e-P Summit, Pitti Immagine’s event dedicated to the relationship between fashion and the digital world.
Andrea Rosso
OTB Sustainability Ambassador e Creative Consultant of Diesel Living
Andrea Rosso, born in Bassano del Grappa, embodies curiosity and passion. His love for music, graphic art, and flea markets fuels his creativity. As a descendant of Diesel’s founder, he was drawn to fashion, studying pattern cutting in Padua and later discovering a passion for nonconformist skills in California.
He pursued Textile Development and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, before conceiving his role inside the family business. Andrea led the creative development of Diesel Living, launched in 2008 as home textiles, now including partnerships with top design firms like Moroso, Lodes, and Scavolini. In 2014, he launched MYAR, a sustainable fashion project focused on upcycled military garments, blending history with modern style.
In 2020, Andrea took on the role of Diesel Sustainability Ambassador, and in the same year the brand launched its ‘For Responsible Living’ strategy, a commitment to benefit current and future generations.
Marco Sammicheli
Curator for Design, Fashion, Crafts / Director Museo del Design Italiano
Marco Sammicheli is curator of the design, fashion and crafts sector at Triennale Milano and Director of Museo del Design Italiano. As supervisor of the International Exhibition program, he has been the institutional representative of Triennale at the Bureau International des Expositions in Paris since 2018. He curated exhibitions for museums and galleries on different designers: Estùdio Campana (Power Station of Art, Shanghai); Bruno Munari (Museo del Novecento, Milan); Carlo Mollino, Ettore Sottsass, Alberto Meda, Mario Bellini, Inga Sempé (Triennale Milano). He has written monographs and contributed to several publications on design. He teaches at the Catholic University in Milan where he leads a research unit on sacred design in collaboration with the Vatican Museums.
Sara Sozzani Maino
Creative Director Sozzani Foundation
Creative director of the Sozzani Foundation. She collaborates with many educational institutions and serves on several boards working and creating awareness for a more responsible planet. She is part of the advisory board of the Circular Fashion Summit, in support of the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
To date, she is a Creative advisor for CNCC (Condé Nast Commercial Creative) dealing with the conception and proposition of multi-platform projects for the Condé Nast Italia brands. She founded Vogue Talents with Franca Sozzani in 2009. Vogue Talents has been a worldwide project and network supporting independent creative talent.
In collaboration with Altaroma, she has curated since 2005 the Who is on Next? competition in support of Made in Italy. She regularly attends as a judge and consultant in several fashion competitions, including LVMH Prize, the Woolmark Prize, Fashion Trust Arabia, International Talent Support (ITS), and many others. Since September 2018, she has been the International Brand Ambassador of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana in support of the new generation of designers. She is also part of Camera Fashion Trust founded in 2018 in support of made in Italy designers. In 2019 she launched A New Awareness, a project that aims to create more awareness and consciousness in the younger generation.
In May 2021 she received the Positive Change Award from Monte Carlo Fashion Week.
In 2023 she is one of the executive producers of the documentary Junk Armadi Pieni a docu-series of six episodes that sheds a new light on the contemporary impact of the textile industry, through the stories and images of the people and ecosystems which are most affected. Host and co-author is Matteo Ward, entrepreneur and activist, who curated the scientific research of the series, written and directed by Olmo Parenti and Matteo Keffer
Sonia Veroni
Director of the academic Master in Creative Knitwear Design (CKD Master) of Accademia Costume & Moda
Grown up “breathing” fashion in the family’s company, she has developed, since a very young age, a passion and competence linked to the creation of knitwear collections for some of the most important Italian and international designers. After having graduated and after an experience at Miss Deanna, she moves to New York and Paris from 1997 to 2001, working as Director of Creative Service for Badger & Partners, marketing, advertising and communication agency. In 2003 she returns to Italy and works as a stylist for different fashion brands and for the music industry curating, among many projects, also the music videos for the famous rock star Vasco Rossi. From 2004 to 2011 she is Artistic Director for the Knitwear Company GOTHA.
Between 2008 and 2010 she is Professor for Fashion Materials at IUAV, in Venice. In 2005 she is the founder of Modateca Deanna, International Centre for Fashion Documentation, and continues promoting Made in Italy with particular interest in Knitwear Design, through the creation and realization of exhibition projects in Italy and abroad.
Since 2016, Sonia Veroni is also the Director of the academic Master in Creative Knitwear Design (CKD Master) of Accademia Costume & Moda, in collaboration with Modateca Deanna. The Master in Creative Knitwear Design is a new concept in advanced knitwear education, offering to young fashion designers a complete and specific education in Knitwear.
In partnership with some of the Italian most prestigious Knitwear and Yarns Companies and with the technical support offered by highly specialized partners, the course is based on the on-site learning, interactive lessons and the collaboration with the most innovative and important Italian companies specialized in fashion knitwear. CKD philosophy is to create knitwear projects with the care and ethic of the past mastering technology innovation of the present and the future.
Matteo Ward
Matteo Ward - CEO of IO Fashion, Textiles & Home
Matteo Ward is an Italian entrepreneur and sustainability advocate, CEO of IO Fashion, Textiles & Home.
He is best known as the CEO and co-founder of WRÅD. Matteo serves as Vice President of Fashion Revolution Italia and is a member of their Education team. In 2023, Matteo co-authored and hosted "JUNK," a docu-series co-produced by Sky Italia and Will Media, while in 2024 he published his first book, FUORIMODA!, with DeAgostini Mondadori.
As a Food Hero, he collaborated with FAO on a children's activity book.
