ITS 2018 – The Awards. Welcome this year’s boldest creative minds.

09 May 2018

We never really liked those awards that basically consist in a good pat on the shoulder, some pocket money and a trophy whose destiny is to collect dust on a shelf, and nothing else. ITS isn’t just about temporary support and we have always strived to provide real opportunities for our finalists, experiences that would last beyond the event, that could potentially represent a radical change (for the better, of course…) in their professional lives.
So yes, there’s the pocket money and there’s the trophy – we honestly hope the winners wipe the dust off every once in a while – but there’s so much more attached. Let’s take a closer look at this year’s awards, bearing in mind that our idea is that ALL finalists are winners who become part of the ITS FAMILY, a network that is there precisely to support one another for the rest of their careers.

The Winner of the ITS Award offered by Allianz – chosen among the fashion, accessories and jewellery finalists – will receive a cash prize of a minimum of €15,000. Furthermore Pitti Immagine will offer a 12-month mentorship by the Tutorship Division + showcasing a Capsule Collection at the Pitti Uomo edition in January 2019.

The OTB Award Winner – chosen among the fashion and accessories finalists – will receive €10,000 and could have the opportunity to intern in one of the group’s brands, with a monthly reimbursement, and travel & accommodation expenses covered.

The DieselAward Winner – chosen among the fashion finalists – will be offered a 6-month internship at DIESEL (with a monthly reimbursement, travel and accommodation expenses included).

The winner of the SwatchAward will receive a a cash prize of €10,000 and a 6-month paid work experience at the Swatch LAB in Zurich. Swatch will also provide support in the amount of €500 to all the ITS Artwork Finalists for their special projects.

The winner of the Tomorrow Award – chosen among the fashion, accessories and jewellery finalists – will have a space to showcase his/her collection for one season in the Paris Tomorrow Showroom.

A Special Mention by Vogue Talents will be awarded to a fashion, accessories or jewellery finalist. The winner’s collection will be featured on the Vogue Talents website and in the Vogue Italia supplement.

CNMI – Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana will grant one of the ITS 2018 finalists a cash prize of €5,000.

The countdown for the finals in the end of June has begun and the selected finalists are working hard to get their collections & projects ready to step on the ITS 2018 catwalk or be showcased in one of our exhibition spaces, for all our guests – leading international press, insiders of the design world, headhunters, opinion leaders and more – to admire. And for the ITS 2018 Jury to decide who will be the next winners – among a new generation of finalists that has already won, we’d like to reiterate that – of International Talent Support.
