THE POWER OF MY HANDS

Tatjana’s collection is a celebratory homage to her German grandmother who was a typical subordinate housewife, and to her punk mother who was a pioneer in the male dominated world of IT. Together they taught her the importance of being oneself and standing up for women’s rights. Through knitwear she looks into traditional craftsmanship in relation to politics.
How can feminism be expressed through craft today? As a warrior in a soft armor?
Posing the question: why does women’s genitalia still need to be talked about?
