Worn with a sheer polyester organza palazzo trouser dungaree featuring contrast stitched shoulder straps and belt, animalier nylon tights, and a crocodile motif patent leather cape with a sculpted cut neckline, raglan shoulders and matching maxi ruffled taffeta cape.

concept

The inspiration for this collection is the image of the femme fatale of which Marisa portrays three different types. The first is inspired by the Amazons, who were mythical horse riding matriarchal women, brave, courageous and dignified female warriors which Marisa re-interpreted using Tibetan and Mongolian patterns. The second is Catwoman as portrayed in the Cremaster Cycle of artist Matthew Barney, where a woman transforms herself in a half human-half leopard creature. The third type is a kind of “Bee Woman", a beautiful woman aesthetically inspired by Gustav Klimt's work and by the matriarchal society of bees, living around the mother of all: the queen.
