The ITS Contest Residency 2027
March 7th to 17th, 2026

The selected designers wil take part in a ten-day creative residency from March 7th to 17th, 2027. During this immersive experience, they wil gather in Trieste at ITS Arcademy – Museum of Art in Fashion and engaged in a dynamic programme of workshops, talks, exploration of local craft techniques and mentoring sessions designed to support the development of their creative vision and professional growth.

A cornerstone of the ITS Contest experience, the creative residency provided emerging designers with a unique opportunity to develop new skills and build meaningful connections. Over the course of their stay, they participated in experimental workshops, explored local craft techniques, and engaged in meetings with industry experts and internationally renowned creatives. This immersive experience combined practical learning and inspirational encounters, offering invaluable insights that shaped their craft and future careers.

The Residency will culminate in the Final Event on March 18th and 19th, 2027, that brought together designers, jury members, industry professionals and international guests to celebrate this new generation of talent.

The Residency was so much fun, very busy, packed schedule, always on the go. It was a balance of workshops, masterclasses, and we were able to learn so much and experience so much.
