Resolving to find conviction in the intangible value of her work, from intensive research into the theory of value led to critically consider the concept of time and how it influences the value we attach to our garments. Discovering ambiguity in the relationship between time and value: is longevity the highest achievable value in design? Or on the contrary, is an ephemeral moment more valuable, since we know it won’t last forever? This project captures the invaluable essence of timeless design by manifesting its ephemeral moments and details.
