concept
Rebecca designed her knitted footwear prototypes observing aerial performers' and athletes' need to recover in order to maximise their performance, the shift from intense moments of pressure to release were carefully incorporated into the design of her soles. She drew inspiration from the raw energy of the sea and from the aerial body in motion. Her total commitment to responsible design for a positive impact in production lead to using circular and seamless knitting technology. By knitting twin skin socks in one piece with a zero-waste approach, the inner and outer sock are bound together in a seamlessly flowing piece.
