concept

Starting from extensive iconographic research into Lotto’s heritage and vintage pieces, tennis elements, italian futurism, couture and black culture and connecting the idea of dynamism in our contemporary online and offline culture, Raphael Kouto wanted to achieve the aesthetics of a tribal, dazzled, technological, sportswear couture. The look was made by upcycling second-hand clothes, scrap materials and leftovers, layered into a unique silhouette.
