concept

Looking at biological structures in the microcosm (cells) and in the macrocosm (populations). Both share general patterns: substances move across cell borders in a similar way as human populations move to resettle. The core of this process was the starting point of the collection, posing the question: are boundaries necessary? What happens crossing the boundaries? Is it possible to create new shapes developed as a step beyond the old ones? Transgression may lead to the emergence of new types of organisms, cultures, thinking and jewellery pieces. Challenging the boundaries and returning gives way to rethinking reality and evolving.
