concept

Substance can make physiognomy unrecognisable, deconstructing its original form by adding an element of ambiguity, of wonder, which remains hidden inside ready to burst out from this formless mass. Cecilia erased the conventional rules of beauty by creating a subtle border between what is considered beautiful and what is considered ugly. This is a transfiguration of the body born from her Peruvian origins.
