Playful and deconstructed wallet that is part of a series of six items which work individually or together as a single object. Electric blue leather wallet with black lining and detachable orange leather cardholder. it opens and closs by means of an interlocking wooden mechanism.

concept

Almost everyone has experienced playing with a puzzle or with Rubik’s cube at least once. Players know how it feels the moment you put the last piece in place or are about to make that final twist of the cube just before completing it. Each piece has its own space and can be put in place with different movements. Young Jin is fascinated with these features, especially “playing awareness” which is the result of the interaction between user, producer and product. Her 6 items are individually designed to serve different purposes but can also be assembled together as a group - each with their own position in the whole - to create a single, compact element.
