concept

The underlying concept of these jewelry pieces is play: a transformative collection that seeks to capture the liveliness and the dichotomies of creativity. Coloured pencils are a perfectly represent having fun, considering they are among the primary educational tools given to children to express themselves creatively, by writing and drawing randomly. A symbol of the creative expression. By cutting and joining pencils in the search for new shapes Gisela and Larasati are looking for their own alternative expression of creativity. A tool intended to produce creativity is transformed in their main material of choice to express their creativity.
