concept
Fusing digital 3D printing with craftsmanship, these six performance pieces explore the transience between the human form and the environment. When exposed to wind or water a fluid and tranquil movement is created. This produces a kind of spiritual connection which evokes self-awareness, altering one’s own image and awakening thoughts of purpose and a sense of existence. As fashion artefacts, the pieces question why people are fascinated by fashion, by its exclusivity and elitism embedded in the concept of buying what is considered extreme luxury and creativity, and the power it holds to influence the mind.
