technical description

Form follows function − collection centred around the idea of interacting with the space and sitting perfectly as a neatly organised whole. Design crafted using a combination of solid materials like wood and brass, which mimic the shape of the associated furnishing, and soft leather for the rest of the bag. Made by means of CNC milling, laser cutting, and traditional wood and leather working.

concept

Functionality dictates the aesthetics of this collection. Looking at how having a space-saving mindset could be correlated with compulsive orderliness, where an inner urge strives to find a balance between objects in the surrounding space. Showing particular interest in pattern forms of this type of obsessive compulsive disorder, causes and subsequently the best ways to tackle and reduce them through design, look and appearance. By matching every object to a specific storage place where it sits perfectly as a part of a neatly organised whole, at the same time a conserving function is attained. The balance of order is preserved and both eyes and emotions are satisfied.
