technical description

Double ring composed of blackened brass bent wires weaved together to form six bunches, which together form a continuation of the body like a prosthesis.

Size 320x210x320mm, 104 gr., 2015

concept

Enclosing space by constructing linear shapes built from metallic wires and using a manual, freehand weaving technique. Shapes were constructed as a continuation of the wearer's body and lines were created freely, following no specific rule. Pieces speak about where the wearer stands in relation to their surrounding space and in a certain way dictate movement, changing the natural body flow. Challenging conventional jewellery sizes and suggesting new ways of wearing it.
