concept

A womenswear collection based on the leather biker jacket and packaging construction. Exploring the construction of cardboard boxes to replicate it in the pattern cutting without loosing the underlying element of the biker jacket. The looks are oversized and heavily layered, creating an obnoxious silhouette with plenty of attitude. By adding multiple zips within the outerwear this allows the wearer to play with the panel construction and radically change the pieces: jackets can ultimately be laid completely flat, much like an open cardboard box.
