concept

Illustrating androgyny through the association and fusion of contrasting materials. The ambiguity of androgyny is narrated through the experimentation of materials associated with both female and male sensibilities. Geometric shapes and volumes adopted for the silhouettes of designs reference the traditional details of tailored suits, which have historically evolved as a symbol of gender equality, fashioned for both men and women. Using jewellery to communicate harmony between sexes, the common ground on which to create a hybrid.
