concept

“He is a Decotora truck driver. He is constantly travelling. He is real and original. He is an outsider. He lives strong and his pride and masculinity show through the glitz of his truck.” Inspired by Decotora trucks and especially their drivers. "Decotora" is a combination of the words "decoration" and truck" and it identifies a Japanese phenomenon that could be easily summed up as a truck-focused "pimp my ride" with a very distinct aesthetic. Truck owners invest a lot of money and time to customise their vehicles with extravagant lights, chromed parts and extensions. These are also ordinary hard working truck drivers that deliver goods day in day out. A collection that combines Japanese sensuality with powerful Western masculinity.
