concept

Mirroring, visual illlusions and conjoined twins were part of the inspiration for this footwear collection. Every pair consists of four carbon fiber soles connected in different ways. Visual illusions and mirroring are sometimes hard to understand for the brain, the cognitive faculty gets irritated. If objects are looked at from different perspectives they appear to change shape, even though they remain the same. These designs confuse, disturb and capture the attention of the viewer, challenging the eyes and the mind.
