‘Splash’-shaped transparent resin pendant inlaid with transparent crystals and suspended on a golden metal chain.

concept

A splash of water on the human body. The instant realisation of how unique, yet at the same time natural to freeze-frame the moment and recreate the shape to develop iconic jewellery pieces. This led to a lot of experimentation, but also inspired by the idea of creating not just a splash of water, but a splash of diamond: tests to find the best fluid to enclose in the glass-like items, for sparkling crystals to sail on creating reflections and light effects emblematic of sparkling diamonds, no easy feat. Supported by the latest technology and materials it was possible to create freezed splashes which were then translated into jewellery of all sorts, from necklaces to rings, bangles and earrings.
