Blue and white woven denim knee-length dress in a chevron pattern with a contrasting woven front panel, shoulders and sides with two-tone fringed detailing, cage cocoon skirt with crossed and fringed denim tapes, large, shaped side pockets, intertwined with bands in fringed denim edged with matching and contrasting feathers.

concept

Different shades of blue denim jeans.
Dark blue fading and breaking into a much lighter blue. I've found an image of a blue-toned feather, that reminds me the texture of the blue denim fabric. The shades of the feather are of dark blue ink and bright blue - almost white, merges all together. That picture allowed me to better understand the similarity between the beahavior of the feather's surface, that changes all the time, making new shaded by the breaking of the light on the surface. This quality is what makes the feather so beautiful, and what also makes a beautiful denim. I'm planning to find new ways to wear denim on the body, and my sketches that shows denim in verious of constractions and shapes. I'm always very concern to make the outfit very flattering on the woman's body, but i'm not limited in my thinking.
