concept

Challenging standardisation in the footwear industry by overcoming negative reactions to certain shapes considered abnormal. Irregularities and abnormalities are seen alongside perfection and normality evolving conventional design ideals and socially desirable ideals. The collection seeks to promote and intrigue by injecting desirability in the very abnormalities of the design. From the fake and plastic artificial beauty to the deformed and disfigured, it became a synthesis of traditional and modern freaks.
