concept
Captivated by tea sets and ceramic artefacts. Karisia looked at unique decorations, bright colours and traditional shapes that would breath contemporary energy. The rococo accent assumed from an affinity to Sèvres porcelain. The prints evolve from porcelain plates and their extraordinary decor. Translating inspiration into clothing by using white, gold and patent leather as well as silk (to capture the fragility of porcelain). A playful yet sophisticated collection with a cartoon-like mood.
