Frauke Thielking's project was concerned with process of human orientation, primarily it was about entering new living spaces. The pictures in this series represent different stages of orientation in life and range from the very adaptive behavior of the human being, which involves following rules and norms, to the disengagement from all conventions. The connecting trait is Frauke's signature style imbued with irony and a fresh but yet romantic perspective of the world.
