Sons of the rock - burlesque from a frozen time

concept

Through this project David and Thomas wanted to create a fictional community staged between the absurd and fantasy. The photos portrayed strange human beings, nomads and at the sametime mountain dwellers, and they call upon a plurality of different codes, among which theatricality, tribalism, make-up, autarky and a return to children’s tales). It is a group of individuals living in a weird burlesque show, a family surrounded by colours and contrasts, evolving in a frozen time, without a period or an age. Motionless, yet full of life.
