concept

Leonardo da Vinci’s imagination went far into the future. His mind pictured helicopters, airplanes, submarines and he developed these machines using simple structures, propelled by natural energies like wind, water or the muscles of the human body. Yuima brings this kind of inspiration to his collection. Driven by the latest innovations in technology and rubbing elbows with costume design from science fiction movies his clothes, shoes, jewellery and hats are like popup books inspired by Da Vinci’s works. A new kind of future, coming from the past.
