concept

Takafumi is telling us that the world you see is not the only world there is. His jewellery was attempts to change our point of view giving us a much more fun world to look at. Fascinated by natural visual effects like shadows, reflections, sunsets, water drops and the way these things can radically change what we are looking at, Takafumi used lenses in his necklaces and rings to explore the multiplication of light and change one's perspective of the outer world. Ultimately, his pieces were a challenge for the wearer to play with his jewellery.
