concept
Playing with traditional and familiar through print, pattern and structure. Challenged by the process of reinterpreting everyday items such as the white t-shirt, the five pocket jeans and the cable jumper, bringing in influences from camouflage and illusion, reworking and exaggerating typical knitwear and woven details through print, digital knitting and unconventional stitching techniques. A graphic approach and love for trompe l’oeil effects were complemented by an appreciation and attention for luxurious materials and textures that are soft and comfortable to wear.
