Long-sleeved top in white cotton with intarsia inserts printed in contrasting optical black stripes, contrast stitching on the edges, shaped cut-out and applied sections, digital printed portions and lettering motifs, open sleeves decorated with knots in coordinated fabric and chained metal elements.

Monsters translated into denim. Horror films have been criticized for their graphic violence and have often been dismissed as B-movies. With the dramatic changes in technology that occurred in the 1950s the tone of horror films shifted away from the gothic towards science fiction, with an endless parade of low budget productions. Jan's research looks at some of the most iconic characters: the werewolf, the monster of the lagoon, Freddy Kruger...ironically, she is depicting them as the actors playing them, after a hard day of filming.
