Perforated cotton coat featuring a cape neckline and a drawstring closure with matching ribbon, puff sleeves, exposed buttoning against a floral printed satin section and contrasting cotton broderie with sangallo lining. Worn over a textured wool and printed satin tunic dress featuring central buttoning, thin shoulder straps, a maxi front pleat with a floral printed lining and an adjustable trompe l'oeil printed silk top with metal buttoning, a drawstring waist, and a contrasting border with embroidery.

concept

The aspect of womanliness, the essence of the female nature, its integrity and duality, the combination of sensuality and spirituality. Migle found her inspiration in the Japanese woodblock prints (ukiyo-e) of female beauties, which became the main material to develop her project. She explored the essential life stages of a woman, from childhood to motherhood. Her outfits were constructed following the Japanese "wabi" aesthetic principles of simplicity, driving ideas from the kimono and looking at the poetry of everyday life.
