2007-liron-braker-bracelet
technical description

Off-white felt cuff bracelet with serrated edges, embroidered with open worked curved brass panels and cotton thread, and appliquéd with gold leaves.

Size 250x40x50mm, 68 gr., 2007

concept

The collection was inspired by the concept of contrast, of contrasting materials and contrasting time: modern versus vintage, pure materials versus artificial, rural versus urban, high tech versus hand made. Liron attempts to combine all of these contrasts in the accessories, blending two opposite worlds to ultimately create harmony. From the idea that we live in a modern world leading us to new norms, while most of us are constantly in search of inner truth. This is what the collection depicts, working with felt, rubber, sewing thread, cotton thread, printed paper, gold leaf, unpicked raw fabric, zircon and brass.
