concept

Jin’s prints were inspired by the British ceramic artist William de Morgan and his drawings of dynamic sceneries with rare animals and flowers. The collection seeks to capture the lustered effect of ceramics. To balance the garment shapes and the prints she designed soft flowing lines inspired by flowers and glass sculptures such as those by artist Dale Chihuly. To compliment the outfits Jin incorporated delicate accessories she made from broken ceramic and big rings wrapped with printed fabric. The flowing silhouettes of the collection are intentionally matched with the dynamism of her prints.
