Light blue cotton drill Renaissance corset top with a square neckline, leather bishop sleeves, ribbed cuffs, a rigid boned bodice, matching maxi hood, ruffled basques on the sides and a front metal zip. Worn over a matching cotton drill miniskirt with a ribbed bottom band and sides, and contrasting cotton front ribbon detailing.

concept

A.S.B.O. is the acronym for Anti-Social Behaviour Order, a civil order which is given to citizens who are accused of anti-social behaviours such as theft, intimidation, drunkenness... “ASBO’s” are therefore people who have been accused of these crimes, and an ASBO fashion style has also been identified, which is what triggered David Longshaw's imagination. Creating a collection that is a fusion between ASBO chic and Elizabethan corsetry, with cascading, spiralling pleats falling like petals over the garments. Illustration is fundamental to David's creative process: the starting point of the project was an illustrated story created specifically to fit the concept of the collection and start visualising the whole atmosphere underlying it.
