Like frames from a movie, lonely and frozen young women appear as if they were lifted from the unfolding. Serious and absent-minded, concerned yet peaceful. Inexpressive, as if about to disappear, as if passing from one stage of life to another. Ephemeral entities. By looking at Caroline’s photos one guiltily enters a closed, silent, melancholic and sorrowful dimension. There is a gentleness and pleasantness to it, a delight with can be found in solitude, when we are able to dream about our likes and dislikes.
