concept
Takashi developed his personal version of Street Couture as if he were looking through a broken door, or through a huge hole in a destroyed building of a war zone. He asked himself what would be the world like for someone who was only accustomed to military destruction and conflict. What would one create if that was the only reality? If exploded tanks, deflagrated bomb shells and collapsed brick walls where his everyday view out of the doorstep? Raw hems, military references and a colour palette inspired by war photography were all part of Takashi's tools to create this collection.
