From the universe of ‘Freak Shows’ and fashion styling craze that pervades magazines and photoshoots where everything seems to be focused on luxury accessories Daniele Controversio created his collection. The idea of an unrealistic portrait that transforms models into ugly monsters. His designs were developed as monsters of the present inspired by monsters of the past. The looks feature a balanced combination of fakeness and reality through the application of the models on paper prints of hairstyles, eyes and mouths of renowned contemporary designers, there are also fake dogs and fake accessories, in a dance questioning, ironically, what is fashion? Is it real or is it just a constructed nightmare that has lost its purpose?
