Commenting on the culture of stereotypes, assimilation and appropriation. Black Culture and Deconstruction are key themes, both figuratively and literally, throughout the collection. Including identity, gender, race and religion that are expressed through the illustrative style of the prints which feature portraits, family photos and key personal memories from Tolu Coker and those who were documented.
