concept

Starting from a project created while in Japan, producing a spontaneous artwork every day for 90 days. What emerged were the spaces in-between: manipulated photographs showing simultaneously present and detached elements, real life experiences being captured as warped digital memories. It became a kind of research on dichotomies: the real and the digital, craft and technology, fashion and art. This atmosphere took the form of two original materials: laser cut, moulded leather and digitally printed, sliced PVC. A collection of shoes and accessories that bridge practical and sculptural as well as tradition and technology.
