concept
Studying how social and cultural everyday life issues are translated within a fashion context. This lead the process to evolve through the exploration of her Greek cultural heritage. The collection of bodypieces depicts the transformation of a modern citizen into a Greek Carnival daemon, highlighting the needs of the modern man to escape back to his roots. The cow bell sound is purposefully used to awaken the forces of nature and disperse the evil. The new interpretation of Carnival values and symbolism is used as a medium to suggest new solutions through the use of unconventional materials.
