concept

Birth: when does consciousness begin? Life: what are we meant to do with life? Death: what is the light at the end of the tunnel? This collection explores three enigmatic subjects that can never be fully understood. The women’s shoes were originally made for a trilogy of fashion films called "Birth, Life and Death". The collection integrates wearable men’s footwear pieces that also exemplify these three themes. Working with these films in mind Benjamin incorporated dynamic elements to vehicle themes, creating a powerful impact through an artistic performance that seeks to visually express the collection's concept.
