Sculptural and essential headpiece resulting from a tension between the body, its structure, and the draping fabric. Manufactured with a plastic base covered with a synthetic textile dip-dyed in grey and black, and blocked with a belt around the waist.

Exploring structure, tension and draping applied to millinery. Developing a technique that reveals and hides the body. Through structure the shape changes. Millinery that creates an environment around the human form. Instilling research from photographs of parasitic trees in Sri Lanka, draping trees and mannequins.
