Light viscose jersey long-sleeved midi dress featuring riveted bustier design profiles doubled in transparent silk tulle cut with a symmetrical geometric pattern on the sleeves, neckline and body, and decorated with iridescent thermo-adhesive crystal appliqués.

concept
Based on a series of black and white photographs taken in the summer of 2009, which are reflected through colour, shapes and knitwear techniques. Some of these pictures depicted graphic structures and buildings which were then developed into patterns and knitted structures. Other pictures were dreamy and showed layers of transparent fabrics and light, while others showed everyday garments like trench coats, which were translated into knitwear with a trompe l'oeil effect. The colours and fabrics go from the blackest heavy knit to the thinnest sheer white silk tulle. The whole collection is about shadows and all the grey tones between black and white, photographic imagery and playing with two and three dimensions.
