The world of horse racing is challenging, ruthless and complex and "Point-to-Point" racing is no exception. These are unofficial races with a field as the actual track, straw bales for navigators and white tents as the buildings. A portable race course that can be one of the most demanding and troublesome races a horse can do. Some jockeys can be as young as 16 years old. The winner is treated like a hero by the trainer and by the owner of the horse. The photographs intended to portray the stress and exhaustion these boys go through. At the same time, their faces show their sheer determination to survive and win.
