According to Plato's Meno, the soul is immortal and repeatedly incarnated. Knowledge is actually in the soul from eternity, but each time the soul is incarnated its knowledge is forgotten in the shock of birth. What one perceives to be learning is actually the recovery of what has been lost. Based on this idea, Megumi pursues the memory related to nostalgia. Originality is created from inception. Our origin is the soul and this is why we share a common sense of nostalgia.
