concept

Exploring the relationship between delicate materials such as wood, leather, threads and paper and traditional jewellery materials like metal, attempting to balance the combination. Bringing new technology and traditional craftsmanship together by developing shapes and details through laser cutting, fusing with more traditional metalwork techniques. References of flowers, asian umbrellas and 1920s fashion, playing with shape repetition and extensive use of chains as an adornment.
