concept

Interested in juxtaposing different materials and proportions, turning functional fashion into decorative fashion and vice-versa. In this collection, protective sportswear and its reinforcements formed his functional influence, while the Japanese Obi forged his aesthetic direction. He reconstructed different Obi styles into fully functional garments and applied protective, non-fashion materials to generate beauty. Oden created a modern aesthetic with an innovative use of materials and proportions, an individual cutting style and unfamiliar colour allocation.
